Silver is a valuable metal found in the more common variety of New Years Hat as well as rare coins that let you buy P2P membership.[1] Gauntlets also come in silver. In general, gold is a much more valuable metal. For coins, however, gold buys many items, but silver buys P2P.[1]

Silver is often given away at holiday events. Silver hats are often given away at the Town Center by holiday decorations, or by Joe through the Drop Box. July 4, 2014, silver coins were dropped like candy.[2]
