Gems are magical rare items found in treasure. Players use them to charge wands or complete quests. They are also found in rings, but the method to place a gem into a ring is a secret. Only Piper knows where he gets them.

Endorra buys and sells gems when she has them, but other players usually have better prices.
Piper sells rings made with gems.
Classes[]
There are 3 classes of gems: Emerald, Ruby, and Diamond. Items made from gems also inherit these classes.
Emerald[]
Emeralds are currently the only gems required for quests. They are used to make the first wand a player can wield, and the cheapest rings.
Ruby[]
Rubies are more affordable than diamonds and more powerful than emeralds. They are the middle class of gems.
Diamond[]
Diamonds are the rarest and most expensive class of gem.
History[]
There used to be gem dust, but it has been removed from the game to simplify the magic system.[citation needed] Before this, wands used to disintegrate into dust with each use, then would need recharging again.[citation needed]
Gems also used to be stackable, at one point.[1]
